Title: Cryptoheros myrnae breeding
Post by: Jody on January 02, 2018, 11:20:51 PM
Hiya everyone,
So after about 9 months of growing out, my C. myrnae have fry. I picked up 6 of them at the Montreal spring auction , and I wasn't totally convinced that there were any males in the bunch,  as all were showing the typical dorsal spot of the female.
About 2 weeks ago I noticed signs of pairing and about a week ago the female changed into her breeding colour.
As they are a C.A.R.E.S. fish I decided to remove a bunch of the fry to grow out.

Great news! Was there any preference to cave type?
