Yoo hoo! I'm in!
Great topic!
I encourage anyone who wants to keep plants in their aquarium to attend. Errol is very knowledgable and can answer your plant-related and aquascaping questions - and obviously you will get to learn more about CO2 set-ups.

Thanks to Sid for organizing this, and thanks to Errol for accepting the opportunity to present.

Looking forward to the presentation and to seeing the "gang" again!

Thanks Andre.
The single most deterrent for hobbyist acquiring a pressurized CO2 set up is start up Cost
I will attempt to demonstrate one possibly way of getting into entry level pressurized  CO2 at a fair cos,t competitive prices to the commercial entry level equipment with a better quality from locally sourced equipment.
If all goes well with  sourcing the equipment, i will consider raffling or selling this rig......stay tuned
I will also do a High end 2 stage unit all tricked out   ;)
Hope to see many of the planted aquarium hobbyist - from the beginner to the advanced.
Regards Errol

Very informative presentation and demonstration. Now I know how I blew my last regulator!

CO2 art 12 volt solenoid

This vendor is a one stop shop and i favor their clippard 12 /24 volt mouse solenoid with manifold for 35 USD
Unfortunately they have stopped shipping to Canada.

It`s advisable if you are going to order any part that involves shipping cost, to perhaps try to get a group order to help defray that cost.
I`m willing to help anyone desirous of attempting this project.
Kind regards

charlie

Here is a completed 2 stage as talked bout I ended up sending out to Vancouver.Note the bubble counter mounted to the fabco needle valve, as mentioned at the meeting , it is not my preferred  option but the person that it went to requested it.
