spawning mops

I made a floating spawning mop this morning for my tank... my betta now plays in it and my rainbows try to eat it  :? Here's hoping I'll catch some eggs now before they eat them all - if they figure out that's what it's there for!

If anyone is interested, I have 3 extra mops (betta playgrounds or cat toys?)
