Yet another arm of the Green Dragon/militant environmentalists that will take away the pleasures of this hobby. It's inevitable that they will have their way, as they spread fear and horrible propaganda to convince those that don't know the benefits science and hobbyists bring to this arena.

This type of legislation has been tried in the US and EU a few times now and has never passed .... it did for one species for a while in Germany and then was repealed when the enforcement department figured out that it was not enforceable as they did not know themselves what a lot of the fish are supposed to look like (e.g. as juveniles vs adults or in between the two).

But you are right they will keep trying and may have some "partial successes" ...
