Avatar question!

Can anybody here tell me how would I be able to place
an avatar under my name.and if so.
where do I find them.
I notice lots of you guys have them.

At the top of this page, you will find a link to your profile. You will get all the information for your avatar at the bottom. When I look at profiles, I'm more interested in location and what kinds of fish the poster keeps.

As Michel said, you set you avatar in your profile.

To find an avatar you'll have to search the web or make your own with a graphics editor.  Just about any small image will do.
