Collecting Trip 1
Target fish will be Michigan's 3 native Killifish, Fundulus notatus, Fundulus dispar and Fundulus diaphanous. All three of these species primarily live in lakes or slow moving rivers. For these fish, we will visit 2 different lakes (a third if time permits). The water in the collecting areas is up to 3' deep depending on the lake.

Collecting Trip 2
Target fish will be some of Michigan's native darters with the focus on Rainbow (Etheostoma caeruleum), Johnny (Etheostoma nigrum) and Blackside (Percina maculate) Darters. The target river also has many common shiners and Blacknose Dace.
