Hi All,

I have decided to purchase the Sunpak 150 watt HQI fixture from Marinescape and was wondering if anyone had any pics of the different spectrum bulbs. I will not be running supplemental actinics. I am currently running the Coralife 96 watt quad 50/50 CF and was wondering which MH bulb would give me a similar colour (crisp white with a hint of blue). I find the 20K bulbs way to blue.

go with the 14k not to blue but will give great color
90 gallon/ 90 gallon sump all male show tank, 75g Accie, 75g masoni reef alonacara, yellow lab and trio of flame backs, 75 gal tawain reef, 75 gal bi500, red shoulder, blue regal,
40 gal breeder  F1 electric blue frierei, 25 gal sunshine peacock males awaiting females, 20 gallon trio albino pleco, 65gal neolamprongus Brachardi pulcher 2 30g fry grow out, 20g hatchery with 4 batches of eggs currently
Starting on a fish wall for breeding more coming soon!

Hey there Lucky........
I had a fixture which I sold a bit ago.....Current USA HQI/PC'S
usually those fixtures come with their own brand of bulb,But found it way too yellow.
So I bought a Geissman Megachrome 13k Bulb.......It was was just perfect.......
very bright white with a tint of blue.
It was worth the money I found.
IMO..geismman all the way when it comes to HQI bulbs
