Title: Lighting
Post by: Mike62 on June 11, 2015, 11:05:18 AM
I would like to get the boards opinion on a choice of lighting for a saltwater tank. To set the parameters, its a 90 gallon tank 4ft wide by 2 ft deep, and I want to be able to grow at least some corals, and an anemone for a clown fish, at some point. What are your opinions on this:

GO evergrow :-)

The first light you linked has way to many RED led's for my liking.

get a couple of leds of ebay, if you want something simple get marsaqua you need 2 they are full spectrum dimmable (not controllable) so you need some $10 timers, I have them and they work great, you can get evergrows or ocean revive, for about $200 but it just add ramping and what not, you can get 2 full spectrum led from ebay for under $200 shipped and you will not be disappointed
