Adding Fish

My pond is all ready, early this year, and I was wondering when was the earliest I can add my 7 inch shubunkins?

Do you have them already in a tank indoors? Then I'd wait til the pond has the same temp as the tank. I figure that would be easiest on them.

I usually wait til the end of April to mid May to put our fish out.
I try to avoid putting them through the huge
temperature changes from day to night that can occur in April.
Sorry can't be more specific but it all depends on the weather
for me.
We're also about 5-8 degrees colder than Ottawa on average.
