OCA Virtual 26th Cichlid and Catfish Extravaganza 2020

This is the Ohio Cichlid Association Conference I usually go to every November in Cleveland Ohio.
This was always a fun show and some great Lectures and people.
I know it was a little too far for many of you (9 hour drive), but here is an opportunity to check it out.

Here is some correspondence I have had with Lew Carbone of the OCA.

The live stream is going to be over a private FB group that I think paid attendees will have to request membership to. We have a young, tech-savvy board member working on it that assures us that it's under control, and he knows exactly how it's going to work. I do believe that the details have to be clarified in future promo posts about the event, so I totally understand where you're coming from. There's also going to be an unlisted YouTube channel on which it will be streamed, for those who aren't on FB, but I think.

By all means, share the info with club members. We originally thought that it would only cost a few bucks more to ship T-shirts to Canada, but then discovered that it would be $30 at the very least. For that reason we won't do that. Another feature that won't work for you guys is the Rare Fish Auction/Raffle (still up in the air which it will be) for the same reason: shipping costs. Other than that, we'd be very happy to have some of your club members involved

sounds like it could be an interesting event to listen in too. Also at $7 where the proceds are going to charity and you also get a freen one year subscription to Amazonia mag, this is a good deal!
