Just curious.  Is it possible for callamanus to exist in marine conditions?  I seriously doubt it, but had never considered the possibility before, being new to salt.  My speculation is that it could not complete the life cycle of a free swiming nematode in water due to salinity.  If salt kills it then it couldn't be spread, and eventually would die.

Hmmm... I remember someone a year ago PMed me a brief suggestion to acclimatise my guppies to marine to shake the worm.  Knowing what I now know I could have tried it.  The implication of that memory is that callamanus should not survive marine.  Still asking for confirmation.
