I converted my 9.9g  planted RCS tank to salt for my grand-daughter. The lighting is provided by 2 12" T5 8W bulbs. There's not much on the market for SW bulbs so I'm still using FW bulbs, a Day-Max and a Color-Max. No information on the package as to K's.They heat up quite a bit so the lamp end holders are quite brittle and need to be replaced. BUT, I was thinking to DIY LED's for better light and colour. The tank will have softies, mushrooms & Zoa's, a shrimp, Clown Goby, tiny RTBA and according to Aubrey "have a Nemo"
I've been Googling but can't come up with something that would be good (Information overload). My question to you is, suggestions please! Something easy and cheap.
Attached are pictures of the housing and what is in the tank now. (The Zenia's are frags from the 29g Nano and are now at FT)
FW Nano's 5g & 15g
