this weekend I found a HUGE pile of books on the side of the road...most were destroyed so sad! entire set of encyclopedias and novels, cookbooks etc! I grabbed what I could that wasn't ruined, which wasn't much

and then....a BIG thanks to Laura for telling me about the First Avenue school's book sale!! WOW! I got some AMAZING deals!! and books I have been trying to find for eons but haven't come across! I actually found the 1970's edition of Foundation & Empire to match the rest!! and in EXCELLENT condition, I'd say nearly new!!! YAAAAAAAAAAY got a bunch of children's books and some dvd's and a cd too! I wish I could have gone again, but it was really worth the trip there!! Thank you again Laura for the tip!!

Anyone else have any excellent finds this weekend?
