Strange behaviour

A normal fish when stopped can maintain it's position with very little movement. One of my cichlids seems unable to do this. It prefers staying in the rocks and when it comes out to eat, the movements seem exagerated; the head and tail move back and forth quite a bit and occasionaly it just sits and quivers. Any ideas?
