? about photo contest

hello just wondering is the photo of the month contest just for fun to see everyones best pics or do you have prizes? (not really important but thought i would ask)
also I'm asuming that everyone welcome means you don't need a OVAS membership    (which if i lived in Ottawa i would buy one, its just to far to travel to your meetings    and I don't get to Ottawa to shop very often)

oh ya and if this info is already posted somewhere and I just can't find it, just slap me and tell me to wake up already

From what it says in the other post, the photo contest is just for fun, some recognition, I guess.

For now, the Photo Contest is just for fun.  Plans for this year are that winning photos will make it into the annual OVAS Calendar, and there may be a prize system some day.

And it is open to everyone, forum users and OVAS members alike.
