when to add rocks to the aquarium ??

Hey .. i got this cichlid tank that i want to add rocks to (NO FISH).
The thing is am worried about the water condition.
The rocks are red granite rocks.... they are around 8 big rocks.

when or how is the right way to add the rockss ??

As long as they are clean etc I would not worry and add them at any time.
