What would be a good filter for a ADF tank so they don't get sucked up into it. Tank would be between 10 - 15 gallons with ADF's & some live plants.

I think anything would work.
I have a "hang on the back" power filter with a cut piece of fine sponge covering the intake, in a 10 gal for my frog. Sponge also insures I always have benifical bacteria even after a filter cleaning.

If I were to buy new I would go with  a internal filter and allow the cover to fit tight. No escapees!!! lost one

I've got frogs in a few of my tanks. One tank has two HOB filters and the other has a canister. None of my frogs have had trouble with the intakes. They seem to be pretty strong swimmers so they can get away from the intakes with no problem.

Thanks Henry & Brine, sounds easy enough. Just wanted to make sure. .
