hey i found this little guy this morning wonder if anyone can tell me what type of starfish this is...if he is reef safe or not??

Forget the name but yes they are reef safe.
I have lots of them in my tanks.
Don't get much bigger than that one.

Looks like an Asterina starfish to me...

Some people like'em others don't. I don't...

thanks guys i'll keep a close eye to this little guy since it says that they can multiply really fast and maybe damage some soft corals so i'll be watching.

Yeah they are cute. I have them in my sons 50 since it was setup.

I thought they were harmless too.  Had  a few in my tank.  One day I saw one mow through a nice pink sponge of mine.  The sponge grew back, but now i remove them.
180g mixed reef,
Mostly LPS with some SPS.
powder blue tang, Desjardin's sailfin tang, mandarin goby, clowns, lots of inverts

I didnt like the fact they were hanging on my sps :(
