Gourami nest problem

I think my dward gourami is making a nest. It looks pathetic, are they actually going to be able to woo a female with that?

I also find that he's getting excessively violent. I don't have another tank, so i'm worried about the females and other male. what should I do? Destroy his bubble nest and hope his temper will go down?
