I decided to check out "That Fish Place" in Lancaster, PA, USA while on a trip to a relatives place last week.

That store is huge. Dedicated sections for plants, freshwater, saltwater, corals, ponds, etc... About half the store is dedicated to the aquarium hobby, it was totally worth checking out!

Click on the following link to see the pictures I took while visiting the store (too many to individually post them here).

Wow !! Love the shark at the front door :P

But be sure to read up before crossing the border back to Canada

When importing an aquatic animal, an import permit will not be required when the owner can:

  1. present proof of their identity and their ownership of the aquatic animal to the inspector at the point of entry into Canada
   2. attest to the fact that the pet animal has not been taken to a show or display outside of Canada
  3.  keep the pet animal in their household aquarium
  4. ensure the pet animal is not exposed to any aquatic animals other than those kept in the household, for one year following the importation
  5. not import another pet aquatic animal as listed below for the period of 90 days after the importation
 6.  keep all records of the importation
