If you guys have been to the one in Toronto, you'll love this one in Ottawa I am sure.  I hang around at the aquarium for an hour everytime I go there :)  Really liked the native species in their natural setup...

I wonder how they get the permits to transport native species...I guess for profit opens up doors.
I haz reef tanks.

Generally if you want to deal with/keep native wild species you need to have a person on staff who has a college degree in keeping wildlife, as well as special permits and be open for inspections to insure the wild population is not affected. So, while a hobbyist could get the proper degree and permits/inspections it would cost even more than a salt water tank!  :P

Current Set-Up: Mixed Reef 250g DT + 100g in Sump
Inhabitants: 2 Snowflake Clowns, 8 Bimac Anthias, 2 Mandarin Dragonets, Vigratus Rabbit Fish, Flame Angel, Purple Chromis, Atlantic Blue Tang, Sailfin Tang and lots of inverts.
Next Step: Set up controller and ATO. Really need to do this.
