What's with the "Hatchling", "Fry" etc.

Noticed on everyone's description, Hatchling, Fry, Juvenile, etc.  Is this based on length of time with the forum, or # of posts?

It's based on the number of posts, and on fish life cycle.

1 - 9 posts - Hatchling  
10 - 24 posts - Fry
25 - 49 posts  - Juvenile
50 - 99 posts - Adult
100+ posts - Spawning Adult
