Shrimp and Cyano?

I got myself a nice group of cherry shrimp but the tank I wanted to put them in has some cyano bacteria. Would this be harmful for them?

Can only speak to personal experience.
The couple of times it happened in my tanks it never harmed fish or shrimp.
