Title: pvc pipe for a catfish
Post by: Freshwater Rookie on August 31, 2014, 10:01:21 PM
I was going to change up my 50 g bowfront setup a bit and I was trying to do some research on requirements for the current inhabitants.  One is a giant black Asian upside down catfish (mystus leucophasis). She is probably 8 " long.  I see references to them liking a pvc pipe hidey-hole. I can do that but my question is, do I just go out and buy that? Do I need to  worry about toxins on a piece of pvc pipe being added to the tank after being rinsed?

She is with a parrot cichlid and an albino bushy nose pleco.

Thanks!!
