How did it ever come to pass that the Common Clownfish Amphiprion ocellaris became know as a fake clownfish and Amphiprion perculawas legitimized as true? As far I can tell they range from Mainland Asia thought Indonesia to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. When did all this talk of a Fake clownfish as opposed to a real ones start and why?
