Yes! for sure. I couldnt argue with you that its a set of reasons, I really dont know. I have boosted my sg to 1.024 and the corals look amazing, at least whats left of them... slowly ill be back on track because I am determined. Ive been watching the tank and my money go down hill since the start of 2010 and its nice to see things looking nice for a change.

Yes I was baffled as all hell, My nitrates are at 15ppm though. there are likely more things going on other than SG and high nutrients.
