Title: Long Weekend Meltdown
Post by: BOnaqua on April 06, 2015, 10:08:42 PM
Went to Toronto this weekend to Ripley's aquarium. Thursday before we left, my reef tank got a bit foggy.
I was little surprised, but everything seemed ok. On the way to Toronto my 6-year old daughter tells me that my 2-year old daughter dumped some fish food in my sump. I got home last night to find most of my tank dead except for two clowns and a cleaner shrimp, few snails and few hermits and also few green polyps are still alive. The rest of softies, zoas, shrooms (including beautiful Marble shrooms), LPSs..all gone.
My kids are heart broken, me...both pissed and sad and my wife...she said, get rid of that horrible smell.
The tank params are getting back to normal and I'll need to replenish the stock.

My friend. I doubt that will really help much.
Last year there was total of 3 coral frags.
Year before that, I believe only one.
Anyways, I'll be there.
