i run my tanks in the basement from 3 different circuit breaker circuits (for redundancy), and all plugs are also circuit-breaking wall plugs (like people use in the bathroom) - (For safety reasons).

Yeah, those types of plugs are GFI - ground fault interrerupt.   If you don't want to replace the outlets, you can also get GFI switches for your panel which do exactly the same thing, only if they trip you have to go down to your panel to reset them.  They're a great safety feature for water/electricity mixes.

And especially REQUIRED when going Marine/heavy brackish.
