Asking, Firm, OBO

I've noticed that in the classified section, people are confusing the terms asking, firm and O.B.O.

Firm means you are selling a product for a price, and this price is non-negotiable. Period.
Asking means you are selling a product with a desired price, but will consider lesser offers.
O.B.O. (or best offer) means you have an asking price, but will sell for less, provided there aren't any buyers who will pay asking price.
