Hey guys, just wanted to check on the seriousness of my tank. As you see in the photo, the caulking is developing some gaps. The seal inside is fine, but I know I need to do something...

Can I DIY a fix, or is it time for a new tank? I have no livestock, so now is a good time...

Thanks.

To repair you should completely remove panel, clean and reapply a new bead of silicone.Depending on tank size ,quality etc it may be chaeper/quicker to just buy a new one

+1 with Ray as well.
I'd say if you do decide to reseal that one seam. You might as well do the entire tank over again. This way you know in 6 months or a year. You won't have to drain it again and do the other seals or have to change tanks.  Or as Ray said might be wiser just to buy another tank.

Thanks a lot, guys... the hunt for a new tank has commenced.

I will add it to the list of things I need (lights, pump, etc :)
