Just noticed today these worm/leech like things on my tank. Anyone know what they are and if they are a problem?

Thanks

I have been meaning to post a pic of these things too. I have been noticing them in my shrimp tank and have NO idea what they are either. When I find em on the glass I pluck em out.

Planaria. A flatworm that could be harmful to your tank inhabitants, depending on species. https://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/features/articles/how-to-solve-a-problem-like-planarians

I had those for a brief time. Some fish love to eat them.

I have had good success with" no planaira" which can be had from Critter Jungle.
I have found overfeeding tends to exaggerate the infestation.
Also never try to squeeze or crush them as they will multiply.
