Title: Forum Not Sending Emails

Hello all,

The OVAS forum has not been able to send out automated emails for the past little while and it finally has been resolved.  :)  This affected the following:

- email notifications for private messaging
- forgotten password email resets
- email notifications for subscribed posts on the forum
- forum profile change email notifications
- new activation emails

So if you tried registering on the forum in the past few months and have not received an activation email, you will need to re-register again. 

If after registering and you still don't get any activation emails, please check your spam folder.

Hello all,

Just an update for the forum members that use Microsoft (Hotmail, Outlook, Live) email addresses. 

Unfortunately the Microsoft mail servers are still seeing ovas.ca as still having a low reputation and according to Microsoft, only time will resolve this issue.  :( 

This means that any emails coming from ovas.ca will be blocked by Microsoft.  So if you are one of those affected and are selling items in the Classifieds or contacting others using Private Messaging, please check back on the forum more frequently to avoid any possible missed messages.

Anyone that can't log into the forum can send an email via the Contact Us (https://www.ovas.ca/ovas/about-ovas/contact-us) webpage to have their password reset.  Some follow up questions may be asked of you to confirm your identity.
