Well.. just plunged into this madness hobby. It was the wife's idea to have a tank but mine to go with SW instead of FW. I just something about having so many kind of 'creatures' in a tank that amaze me. Lol now I think I might regret it... nah

Equipment:
- Fluval Edge Tank (wife insist to get that one) ::)
- 50w Marineland Stealth heater
- Aquaclear 20
- Nano Korilia
- MR16 LED to replace stock halogen
- Blue Led stripe for moon light
- 10w coralife bulb
- 20w coralife bib (soon to be replace once reefbrite is here)
- 15' reefbrite LED 50/50 (still waiting for LFS to have it in stock)

Filtration:
- 7 lbs LR
- 5 lbs LS
Thinking of adding chaeto in the AQ20

Stock:
- 2 turbo snail (soon to be replace)
- 8 blue leg hermit (soon to be replace)
- 1 cleaner shrimp
- 3 sexy shrimp
- 1 pom pom crab
- 1 feather duster
- Hitchhikers (1 brittle starfish, 3 asterina starfish, 2 unidentified sponges)

Corals (all frags):
- Hammer head
- Frogspawn
- Torch
- zoa
- Ricordea

Still have a lot to learn and I am already thinking about upgrading to a rimless tank. (20 or 30g)  ;D

No picture yet as I am still trying to figure out how to do it.  :-[

I really like that tank.  It looks so modern.  A very good choice if I do say so.

welcome to ovas, and welcome to the salt-side

new2salt

Welcome to OVAS and the world of salt water.

If and when - and it almost always ends up being when, you decide to go bigger and can't decide where to put the new tank - move the TV to another room.
You will probably end up like the rest of us salty's and spend more time gazing into the fish tank than watching TV.

Salt is a wonderful world and can be very enjoyable.

No idea what your background is, but one thing is for certain

first - research
second - implement
third - be patient

Good luck and don't be afraid to ask.
