Title: Platty fry
Post by: nat.h on July 23, 2014, 12:15:06 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I have a pair of sunburst platys in my tank that had a batch of babies. I saved about 32 of them and put them into a 5 gallon tank on their own. I have been feeding them crushed up flakes several times a day but they will soon outgrow the tank, I am sure. Does anyone know of somewhere/someone that will take them this young? Big Al's wasn't interested until they are larger (understandable) but they will outgrow my spare tank before that happens.

Please help!

Congrats to the fry and welcome to OVAS. Looks like you have two choices: either get a bigger tank, or find a new home for the little fish. I am sure you will find a few kids if you list them for free. But on the other hand a new tank would be a lot more fun ...  ::)
