Title: Pics: Giant Dendros
Post by: Jean L on February 09, 2011, 08:40:20 PM
Just had to share..
With all the things I've tried and failed... Finally I have one that is doing well.. I've had it since Nov-08.
I just recently propped him on a piece of rock, and so far so good
Thanks for looking
Jean

One of my favorite corals! So darn expensive though. I bought a single head from AZ and I'm not a patient person =( Can't wait for it to bloom like yours. Only a few more years =)

Yes they are expensive... when I bought mine I didnt dare tell the wife..  well not right away anyways.. ;D
That's also why I make the extra effort and target feed..  Apparently I look silly with a turkey baster in the tank...

So just to compare..  I took a few minutes and found the pic of when I got it..
Its been a learning experience just to get the right flow it likes - that's the key

Hi Pat,
The usual mix consist of frozen brine / mysis / cyclopese. The proportions are never the same..Luck of the draw in sorts.
Cheers
