Hi,
I just came back from Hong Kong last week.
They have this amazing street called Fish Street (Tung Choi Street).
Think of how many Aquarium stores we have here.
There in 2 blocks I counted 73 Aquarium shops.
I probably missed a few that were closed or upstairs.
I would wander the street until 9:30 at night. Did it a couple of times.
Everything you could think of was there.
The numbers you see divide by 8 (8 hk = 1 can).
I also went to a special Shrimp store somewhere else and there was one shrimp for $1000 Canadian.
Here is the link for my pictures.

;D Nice, can't wait to hear what your wife says :).
The shops certainly make our selection of stores appear lacking.
How was the quality of live plants?
that was pretty neat...
did anyone else see a cat in a box for sale?
Tons of plants.
In some shops they were bagged like the fish and displayed on a wall.
The picture with the ribbons in the shop were awards for planted tanks.
I don't know my plants but the pictures of the tanks looked awesome.
The only problem is I don't think we can bring plants into Canada.
The street was packed with people looking and buying.
I wish we could have something like that here and the PRICE :) I love looking at those tax free price tag :)

I think it was a new breed of catfish packaging was poor though no baggie for it, just laying on the box, I would look for a more lively specimen
On a different note amazing, I have to wonder how they stay in business like that unless each store specializes in certain species, but some of those dispays are amazing
nice!
Thanks for sharing the photos Peter
Some day I hope to visit S.E. Asia
Words escape me right now! What an AMAZING market! No wonder you were roaming the streets late at night! lol
The large display tanks are gorgeous too!
So much to choose from..how overwhelmingly awesome!
Thanks so much for sharing Peter :)
I've seen this on other websites (Tung Choi Street market) and you're lucky to have had the chance to visit. I couldn't help but notice the ADA merchandise. Did you happen to notice the prices for the ADA stuff?
