Removing paint from a tank

I recently bought a used tank painted on 3 sides.  Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but the paint is quite old and peeling quite a bit.  I can get some nice chips out easily, but what could (should) I use to remove the rest of the paint that is still stuck on.  It seems to peel off quite easily, but not in big pieces.

Thanks.

Try a razor blade, they work quite well for this.

use a pressure washer, it's faster and way more fun, but be careful not to hit the silicon, just a thought, works great in the summer

I ended up using a paint scraper.  Fortunately, it didn't scratch the glass and took me about an hour to do 3 sides.  It's probably more trouble than it's worth (since it's a sump), but I hate having poor looking equipment.
