How to rehome fish

Hello. I'm looking for advice on the best way to rehome fish. I think my two best options might be posting in OVAS classifieds or approaching LFS. Do you agree?

If I'm rehoming big, beautiful fish, should I expect any money/credit from LFS?

You may want to post here on the OVAS Classifieds first to see if anyone here might have the tank space. I would post and see if you get a response within a week.
If in a rush, I would call the LFS(s) to see if they'd be interested and ask the fishroom manager if they can provide any store credit or trade value. Whether or not the store issues credit or pays for fish will depend on their tank space, type of fish, and the relative demand. There's no harm in asking.
Next steps would be to list them on Kijiji.
