A bit has changed since my last post.  I am still slowly working on the tank.  Changed the rock work.. again.. Added some equipment to the sump.. Fuge is going strong and having to cut back the Chaeto quite a bit.

Next on the list is to finish the stand.. now that I am pretty much happy with the layout of the tank.  Don't know if I am going to do wood.. rock.. bamboo.. who knows.. all depends on budget the wife gives me

Looking good, but don't count on a big budget. Like I was told, Christmas is coming and there's the new living room set I want and the carpet has to be changed too..etc.....etc...........etc..............etc ..

So I am working on changing things around a bit.  As for lighting I decided to change from the Tek Light to a custom fixture to get more light into the tank.

Here are a couple pictures of the setup.

On order is this:

This will be placed in the middle of the fixture where the gap was left.  It will be controlled with a ReefKeeper.  It will go from 0-75% in the morning then the T5's will come on for full day light, then T5's go out, it ramps down to about 5% till around 5:00AM for moonlight effect.. then off.  Rinse and repeat.

Update on the Light Fixture

Installed Cooling Fans, Alum Block for LED fixture.  More to come later.

There are some ATI Bulbs in there, Giesemann, and UV Lighting.  can't remember the colours off the top of my head.  Was a random mix to see how it looked and I like it.  So does the wife so thats all that matters right?

The SPS in this system are on the mend.  They used to be VERY Brown but are starting to colour up really nice.  Plus you can see the Cyano I was refering to in another thread on here.

The majority of them are yes.  I am tempted to start vodka dosing the system but I want to give the algae scrubber time to do its job.
