tank size for pair of JD's?

im going to setup a JD tank.. hopefully a pair of blue JDs.. and some tank mates.. what size tank do you all recommend?

The usual for cichlids... as big as you can afford   :lol:

Seriously though, I'd say for a pair of JD's a bare minimum would be a 40 gallon.

I keep mine in a 130g..they go big let me tell you that!
370g System

Blue JDs are different from a regular JD. A lot more docile. I know someone on a cichlid forum that keeps a blue JD in with her angels with no problems... Doesn't really answer the tank size question, but gives you an idea on temperment.

I'm getting a few more Blue JD ... I will be taking orders for Plecos, Apistos, Africans and of course the blue JD from Tim Diderich.
Just look today or tomorrow in the classifieds.
