I am looking for sand as a substrate for a planted freshwater tank. A few years back, I bought pool filter sand at Mermaids in Ottawa.
Do you know if they still carry it or if there is a store closer to Gatineau that sells tank safe sand?
I may have an extra bag of filter sand but I can't get it until next week as it's at the country house. Do you have an idea of how much you need?
As for being tank safe I would not know about that
