Feeding algae eaters/bottom feeders

Call me a worry wort, but how can I be sure my bottom feeders like pleco.s, otos, and corys are getting the wafers or the flakes (I sink them). I put them in at night, but I am concerned that the other more aggressive feeders will get to it before they do. Any thoughts? Thank.

I drop in a boiled chunk of zuchini once a week =)

If they've been in your tank for awhile now, and they are not dead yet chances are they are at least getting some of the wafers
