A small update on the tank.
-I installed a circulation pump to get more water moving
-all the fish and plant are thriving!

The last steps are to tint and varnish the base and paint the light mast.
Maybe put some door as well (glass).
Oh and a toplid! Those corys are scary!

I'll be there!
Also since I have way more free time now I'd be happy to volunteer for the executive committee for the next season.

May 29 is a Wednesday and unfortunately my daughter is young to be up that late on a school night. Thank you though :) She would totally love it.

It is not this Monday (Victoria Day) but the one afterwards if that makes a difference.

If not, bring her along! She will love it!

Have a great meeting! I was looking forward to the presentation. I won't attend because it's my daughter's birthday. I thought the meeting would be on the Tuesday. Have a great summer!

Picked up one Water Lettuce and one hyacinth at Big Als for $9 each or 3 plants for $24.
Used to get them from CTC in Kanata other years. Some other CTC have them but not sure which ones.
I have also gotten them from one of our other sponsors "Ponds and Aquaria" out in Kinburn. (If you go there let me know).

Does anyone know which stores/places already carry water hyacinth? And/or other pond plants/marginals?
