Title: 10 Gallon Planted From PetExpo
Post by: Shawn84 on April 22, 2013, 12:29:46 AM
I had some people asking me about the 10G planted tank I did for the PetExpo. I like the look of it so much that I decided to keep it. I was going for the messy jungle look. I don't do any dosing on this tank. Once a week it get about 10-20% WC. There was a pond snail issues in the tank at the beginning. I got 3 Assassin snail to take care of that issues. Now occasionally I add in ramshorn snail for them to feast on. Pic number 3 is the Blue Pearl Shrimp it was so hard to get the blue color and the Oryzias have a nice metallic blue shine to there body. That my phone camera couldn't take it.

Tank Spec:
10 Gallon Tank
Light: 2x13W 6500K Spiral Compact light on for 6hrs
Subtrates: Black Moon Sand
Heater: Theo 100W Heater
Plant: I have no clue odd and end here and there.

Fish:
6x   Oryzias Woworae fish
30x Cherry Shrimp
5x   Blue Pearl Shrimp
3x   Assassin Snails
20x Ramshorn Snails
1x   Busynose pleco
