Please Help!!!

A frogspawn I've had for a couple of months has recently began acting wierd...
It used to open up all the way every day, but starting about 10 days ago, it started opening only a little bit (just the tips).
Each day since then, it opens less and less and now looks like this (see pic)

(sorry - image is a little distorted because of the camera angle)

The two bottom heads in the picture are still showing the tips (just barely) - but the top head shows nothing (as out 1.5 days ago).

Note in the circle (top head) there is a white fleshy /gelly kind of protrusion (moves with water flow)

My water parameters are:

- pH 8.2 (very stable)
- Ammonia - undetectable (very stable)
- Nitrite - undetectable (very stable)
- Nitrate - around 10 (very stable)
- Ca - 480 (was a little high but is coming down now)

I've tried moving it to a lower flow area - but that didn't help
Fish and other coral are all happy and heathy.

Are my two perc clowns harassing it too much? Should I quarantine it?

What can/should I do?!?

Maybe Brown Jelly disease?

If that is the case the only thing that you can do is cut off the affected heads and hope for the best.  Otherwise it could spread to other coral in you tank...

Coincidentally, I too lost a Frogspawn to Brown Jelly disease

Good luck

Yes it could be BJ. Did your clowns hosted this frogspawn and if yes, did they do it agressivly? Sometimes they may damage the coral or even anemone and it becomes more weak to withstand any desease. I lost one piece when fragged it and placed in new location without my maroon clown "permission" - she killed it in 3 days.
The one on top most likely gone, but those 2 on the sides can revive.

Good luck

BJ desease is a very common desease on hammers/frogspawn/
torch.......I had a torch with 10 heads, now I only have 2 left
what We did was cut all the dead branches off.......we now have the only 2
and they seem to be doing quite well.....
however in your pictures they look they are dying to the point of no return.
good luck...
