Yes we have, cool isn't it, it just likely means that the spiders started crawling a little too rambunctiously for the CPU to be happy.  Fortunately, it only lasts for a short while usually.

If you like, you can always feel guilty about it by becoming aware that perhaps you were reading a post too fervently and that this is all your fault!

Not sure if it has been confirmed that it is msnbot, googlebot, or slurp/yahoo but if it is you might want to consider a robots.txt config file to control these bots.  It allows you totally control the impact of search engine indexation.

You can safely ignore it if you see it.  Just hit refresh and all will be well.

We don't really want to control the spiders.  IMHO they are doing a great job getting the content from this site out to a wider audience.
