Hi,
I'm still very fresh on this, and recently, a question pop up in my mind.

What is the pros and cons of a metal stand vs a wooden stand? Other than the price, is there really a big different? of course, i know they make of different material  ;D and what do your prefer?

Wood Pros:
- Cheaper
- More Attractive
- More Flexible; you can drill holes for plumbing as needed for example

Wood Cons:
- Physically larger for the amount of strength compared to metal

Metal Pros:
- Physically smaller for the amount of strength compared to wood
- Stronger

Metal Cons:
- More expensive
- Less attractive
- Less flexible if you need to modify

Well, if you're comparing a fully decorative wood stand to a simple metal frame, then yes the wood is more expensive.  I guess I was talking about making one yourself.

Hi

I f you are not to fussy and can  use a screw gun
2x4 and 2x3  and black paint are still fairly cheap.  and very easy to work with.
