Here's a new picture of the tank, it's about 10 weeks old now. The more recent additions are some pulsing xenia, a brown clown goby and some green hairy mushrooms.
Andrew
PS: I am just playing with some backgrounds on the rear glass; I originally had the tank open from the back as well but am thinking I will close it off...

Nice looking. Just could ot find clown goby on the picture... :)
I like this type of LR - perfect one for pods and shrimps (mysid). How is your Halimeda growing?

Hee hee, yeah, I thought the little clown goby was dead after putting it in, didn't see it for 2 days :D
The LR forming the bridge is the totoka rock from Ray, very cool stuff. The other LR is Fijian from AC.
The Halimeda is slowing growing (maybe). There is a bunch at the top of the bridge, some under it and I found some more behind the rock on the right. Can't really tell if it is growing though.
I'd like to add 1 or 2 large fan worms at some point.
Thanks,
Andrew
Looks nice, I like your rock work.
Is Nemo and yt getting along now?

Yeah, it was to be FOWLR but corals are like drugs. You start asking questions and then its, here try this little green star polyp, it'll be okay in your tank. Before you know it there is some xenia and some red mushrooms and some green hairy mushrooms, etc., etc., etc. :D

Probably, although I'd like to see how far I can take this one. Need to do a lighting upgrade I think, got anything in a 24" that I can retrofit?!?!!?
Thanks for the kind words az,
Andrew

I am still fiddling with it but I do get some small amount of skummy stuff from time to time. I don't run the skimmer all the time though. Have you found the optimum position for it yet?
Andrew
i think i fit it too low, it needs to sit high to avoid having so much bubbles, i will try today.
That is an awesome looking tank.
I'm inspired.
As soon as I get through this financial pinch (beginning of school - yearly bus pass, tuition, books) I have to start my 15 gallon. It's a MUST now. ;D

It's all a learning curve, right? And when it comes to the aquarium hobby, fresh or salt, any help is always appreciated by an aspiring hobbyist! ;D Be expecting some pm's from me down the line, haha.
