Can any one tell me the difference between the All-Glass tank and a Perfecto tank at Big Al's ?
Is there any difference beside the price, the all-Glass is $219.oo and the Perfecto at $139.oo.
Thickness of glass, cilicone used, plastic trim, craftemship or other ?
I'm looking to buy the black trim 75 Gal. tank ( 48" l x 18" d x 21" h ).
Thanks,
Denis
Without slandering perfecto tanks, I admit to having some, All-Glass is an aquarium I prefer, they use thicker glass, seem to be constructed better, and just feel much sturdier.
Perfecto does have a guarantee, but it is like bying an economy car, it goes A to B the very same as a luxury car, it simply doesn't feel as good, nor last as long.
This is only my opinion however.

An opinion that I would probably have to agree with!!
I was asking, because the boxing day tank Special is the Perfecto tanks only.
Edit : Refereeing to the boxing day at Big Al's on Innes.
Denis
which store are you referring to?
Denis it is my understanding that the reason for the big price difference, is because the Big Al head office bought a huge lot of perfecto tanks ( power buying) thus a cheaper cost vs the all glass, having said that all glass tend to be a little better in terms of finishing their tanks(detail), if it means anything all glass has now acquired Oceanic.
I personally would have no problems buying a perfecto tank given the price difference, but if both tanks were @ the same price point i would lean to the All glass, just my 2 cents.
Regards
My 125 is perfecto. Never had a problem.
