I don't know any suggestions

I went with Vallisneria in my cichild tank due to it being recommended on several cichlid related sites. It is adapted to hardwater, something to do with carbon uptake, and adds a nice vertical element to the aquascape. It was also mentioned as one of the few plants available that might actually be found in the marshy verges of the lakes.
I would not go with the thick jungle val though. I like the shorter corkscrew type better myself :)
Thx kennyman do you know where I can find any inthe city?

I suggest java ferns they attach to rocks easily and they dont require much light. And the cichlids cant eat them.
thx I picked up some Val's and some Java ferns today looks great....I would post but for some reason it won't let me :'(
